Der Staatsanwalt und der Richter. Benjamin Ferencz und Antonio Cassese
This book is only available in German.
Benjamin Ferencz, the former prosecutor in the Nuremberg Einsatzgruppen trial, and Antonio Cassese, first President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, were awarded the Erasmus Prize in 2009. It was then that Heikelina Verrij Stuart and Marlies Simons decided to interview both of them.
The volume summarizes the results of these interviews, including several texts by Cassese and Ferencz on current issues such as the crime of aggression, compensation for victims and the development of international justice.
